Basic Boot Assessment
In the market for new boots and don’t know where to start? This package is for you. This assessment will get you in the best fit boot for you and minimize modifications required later on.

Intermediate Package
Not sure if you need a new boot or modifications to your current pair? Let us help you decide. This package will look at your feet, your current boot fit and your functional requirements.

Advanced Performance Package
We excel at optimizing your ski performance with a precise boot fit. This package allows us to assess your current level of ski performance and make recommendations based on your goals. You provide video footage, we provide the expertise.

● Performance assessment using client-provided video footage
● Performance plan development including: Boot recommendation, set up, modifications as required & Ski performance objectives (measurable outcome)
● Post-Fit video assessment and fit verification ● Secondary modifications as required such as ramp angle adjustment or boot flex modifications
Expert Package
On-snow observation provides us with key insights to fast-track achieving your performance goals.
We ski with you to provide in-depth assessment of performance. You get all the benefits of the above packages and more. Over the course of a ½ day, the use of video supplements our analysis and informs any fine tuning of your boot fit, footbed or alignment. We can then help guide your development with further fit modifications or technical recommendations.

The Ultimate Package
Working with a coach or trainer to achieve your goals? Our most comprehensive package allows for your team to be part of the process. With an understanding of your individual objectives, we perform a comprehensive review and analysis of boot fit, function and ski performance. Both in our boot lab and on the hill, we work in collaboration with your coach / instructor to assess any fit or performance issues, perform all modifications required and review the outcomes to ensure that performance goals are achievable. This package includes custom-moulded Sidas Footbeds, all parts and labour.

Our Fits
The Control Room offers a variety of fits that focus on the skier-boot synergy. Review our different fits below and determine which one is best for you. If in doubt, a Basic Boot Assessment is a good place to start.
Basic Assessments
Foot sizing for length, width and instep height as well as investigation of injuries, permanent anomalies/deformities. A detailed assessment and analysis of stance and as well as foot function for stance and balance. Referral for new ski boot make and model detailing possible fitting/modification issues that will need to be addressed for optimal fit and performance.

Intermediate Package
Assessment of existing boot, foot bed and analysis of overall fit. If deemed appropriate modifications to existing shell, boot liner and foot bed to resolve existing issues that have been discussed and assessed will be carried out in the boot lab. If boots are deemed inappropriate, boots will be referred as per foot assessment. Cuff adjustment, and canting test shims are assessed and performed as necessary. (New foot bed if necessary, not included)

Advanced Package
Combining the Basic and Intermediate package above with self-shot client video (as detailed by The Control Room staff). Review and analyze skier movements and overall ski performance related to possible boot fitting issues. A second visit with client, analyzes post fitting video for performance objectives, verification of improvement and possible secondary modifications such as ramp angle adjustment and boot flex modifications.

Expert Package
This consists of combining the above three packages with shooting video and receiving on snow consultation and investigation from The Control Room boot fitting staff. We determine and record possible fitting, foot bed, alignment and possible structural balance issues through on hill analysis of video. In returning to the boot lab we address these concerns and overall correlation of skier performance and outcomes as discovered by boot/ski performance videos.

The Ultimate Package
The highest end boot fitting and ski analysis package The Control Room produces. This consists of the above four packages with collaboration from the clients coach or instructor if the client so wishes. Working alongside the coach or instructor The Control Room will collectively shoot video, review and analyze on snow skier performance and perform all modifications necessary in relation to possible boot fitting issues. This package includes a custom moulded Sidas foot bed, and all canting alignment, parts modifications if necessary.
